CertainTeed Sponsors Ohio State Expo Zero Energy Home with Fiber Cement Siding, Supports Green Building Initiative

CertainTeed is helping to drive green building education in Columbus, Ohio, through the sponsorship of WeatherBoards™ fiber cement siding to the Ohio State Expo Zero Energy House. The structure, which is seeking Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design (LEED®) Platinum certification, is located at the Ohio Expo Center and State Fair and will serve as a training facility for sustainable building design. During the fair, which ran through August 8, the home was open to more than 800,000 attendees, and will continue to serve on an on-going basis as an educational tool for architects, builders, contractors, students and other interested parties.
