The Saint-Gobain North America Women's Network recently presented a check for more than $3,000 to Women Against Abuse, (WAA), a Philadelphia-based non-profit organization providing services to victims of domestic violence.

The cash was raised through a raffle held at the Saint-Gobain Women's Network annual meeting in Radnor, Pennsylvania.

Says Laura Polischuk, a member of the Saint-Gobain Women's Network and raffle organizer, "We are very pleased that our network was able to help fill this need in our community. The Women's Network is happy to support the Women Against Abuse organization and the many families it helps."

Women Against Abuse, Inc. provides services such as emergency shelter, transitional housing, 24-hour hotline counseling and legal services.

"We are so grateful to Saint-Gobain for this generous gift. Amid today's difficult economic climate, donations like this are becoming increasingly important to sustain our life-saving services for victims of domestic violence," says Katie Young Wildes, Development Coordinator for WAA.
