Saint-Gobain, through its building products subsidiary CertainTeed LLC, today announced the upcoming relocation of its CertainTeed Architectural facility in Lakewood, Ohio to a new, state-of-the-art facility in Strongsville, Ohio. The relocation increases the company’s manufacturing, storage and warehouse space at a time of unprecedented customer demand.
The new facility in Strongsville is more than twice as large as the former facility in nearby Lakewood, and will allow the company to expand its offerings in specialty ceiling and wall systems. The move comes only months after the company announced its global Grow and Impact Strategy, which includes expanding its presence in key, fast growing markets.
“The expansion of our Architectural business into a large, modern facility in Strongsville is an investment in the future of our relationships with our customers, and the future of our relationship with the State of Ohio,” said Regan Gallo, Vice President and General Manager of CertainTeed Architectural Product Group. “This relocation gives our team the space, efficiency and safety features we need to expand offerings in our specialties portfolio, maximize our impact in the market, and further our standing as a worldwide leader in light and sustainable construction.”
Multiple jobs will be created at the CertainTeed facility in Strongsville as a result of the plant’s expansion, including roles in production, engineering, shipping and receiving and quality control. A complete list of current openings can be found at the company’s careers webpage.
