SAINT-GOBAIN SUSTAINING FUTURES, RAISING COMMUNITIES PHILANTHROPIC PROGRAM RECOGNIZED WITH GOLD GLOBEE® AT 15TH ANNUAL GOLDEN BRIDGE BUSINESS AND INNOVATION AWARDS

Saint-Gobain North America today announced that it has been recognized with a gold Globee® at the 15th annual Golden Bridge Business and Innovation Awards. Specifically, the company was awarded top prize in the Corporate Social Responsibility Program of the Year category for its Sustaining Futures, Raising Communities Philanthropic program.

The Golden Bridge Awards is a highly esteemed program that honors visionaries, innovators, and leaders who have made significant contributions in business and technology. As an international recognition platform, the awards bring together organizations and professionals from diverse industries to acknowledge the exceptional accomplishments and breakthrough initiatives that foster a spirit of excellence, inspire growth, and encourage continuous innovation across the international business community.

“We are honored to be recognized by the Golden Bridge Awards as the top prize winner for Corporate Social Responsibility Program of the Year,” said Magda Dexter, Senior Vice President for Human Resources and Communications at Saint-Gobain North America. “By working within our community to enhance spaces for students, the Sustaining Futures, Raising Communities program is truly helping us to meet our purpose of Making the World a Better Home. Thank you to all of the students, faculty members, administrators, local residents and Saint-Gobain colleagues who have helped to make this program a success.”

Saint-Gobain North America’s 2022 Sustaining Futures, Raising Communities philanthropy program focused on creating and transforming educational spaces in Georgia, Massachusetts, and Pennsylvania. Through the program, the company donated $250,000 of its building products and materials solutions to twelve schools, transforming educational spaces and ensuring classrooms are well-equipped, comfortable, and sustainable environments. In its inaugural year in 2021, the program partnered with Charis Homes and Habitat for Humanity East Central Ohio to build a zero-energy ready home in Canton, Ohio for a family that benefited from both sustainable and universal design features.

This recognition from the Golden Bridge Awards is the latest Saint-Gobain North America has received in recent months for its commitment to Making the World a Better Home.

  • In June, Saint-Gobain was awarded a 2023 SEAL Business Sustainability Award for its Montreal Electrification project, which will create the first “net zero-carbon” gypsum wallboard facility in North America (scope 1 and scope 2 emissions).
  • In April, the National Association of Manufacturers named Saint-Gobain North America as a finalist for three 2023 Manufacturing Leadership Awards in the categories of sustainability and circular economy, transformational culture, and Next-Generation Leadership.
  • In January, Saint-Gobain was one of only 15 companies named a global Top Employer by the Top Employer Institute, an honor it has received for the 8th consecutive year.
  • In November, Saint-Gobain was awarded three CEO World Awards for its efforts to empower, mentor and promote women in the manufacturing industry.
  • In Fall 2022, Saint-Gobain was also recognized in Forbes Magazine’s 2022 List of America’s Best Employers for Women, and Yello and WayUp’s list of Top 100 Internship Programs of 2022.

With over 200 manufacturing locations in the United States, every current and future member of the company’s team plays a vital role in achieving its purpose of Making the World a Better Home.
