Transportation Coordination

Customer Account Support

  • Process customer orders accurately using SAP and Salesforce.
  • Maintain constant communication with customers regarding order status, product availability, and shipments.
  • Document service-related issues and support the resolution of customer complaints.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction and solve day-to-day problems.
  • Provide reporting and analysis related to customer service metrics.

Demand Planning

  • Analyze S&OP data, including forecasts and market trends, ensuring accuracy in forecasting tools.
  • Update Logility models by product, channel, and customer with precise sales and market inputs.
  • Support distribution planning to optimize margins and align with sales goals. Provide accurate data to customer service.
  • Track performance vs. forecasts and budgets. Generate ad hoc reports for agile decisions and improvements.

Duties/Responsibilities of the WCM Pillars:

Specific Duties/Responsibilities of the WCM Champion – Quality & Process Control

  • Lead and manage the Quality & Process Control (Q&PC) Pillar 
  • Manage, mentor, lead and develop the quality and process control engineers who serve as direct reports, fostering their growth and ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Develop and maintain Pillar performance metrics at the RPG level to effectively measure and communicate progress.
  • Travel across multiple Roofing sites to support the business level objectives and goals.
  • Create and execute the three-year plan and roadmap for the Q&PC Pillar.
  • Oversee and implement the WCM Pillar Strategy for CertainTeed Roofing plants.
  • Analyze plant performance data related to Quality and Process Control to identify and prioritize key improvement opportunities.
  • Facilitate the successful implementation, coaching, and development of plant Street Committees.
  • Prepare and distribute a comprehensive monthly performance report for CertainTeed Roofing.

  • Collaborate with other champions to standardize and implement foundational elements of the Operational Excellence Program.
  • Develop and execute training plans to address skill gaps for both direct reports and plant personnel.

WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS?

What do you bring?

  • 5-10 years of experience in manufacturing, process engineering or technical project development with a good understanding of the plant organization and complex manufacturing processes.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience leading teams, preferred with direct reports.
  • Travels to support the plants, OPEX events, and corporate meetings will be up to 75%
  • Subject Matter Expert in WCM methods and techniques (Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma) Green Belt /Black Belt

The Continuous Improvement Engineer is the primary leader responsible for driving and managing continuous improvement initiatives across the insulation manufacturing facility. This role focuses on enhancing people involvement, productivity, reducing costs, improving quality, and ensuring safety through strategic planning.

The Continuous Improvement Engineer is responsible of using key tools from the methodologies as World Class Manufacturing (WCM), Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, TPM and other continuous improvement techniques.

As the dedicated CI engineer in the plant, this position will collaborate with senior management and cross-functional teams to foster a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement to achieve the World Class Level Key Performance Indicators expected for the Insulation business.

Key job aspects include:

  • Support the application of World Class Manufacturing (WCM) and other CI methods to reduce costs and improve safety, quality, productivity, and other key performance metrics
  • Facilitate planning of WCM initiatives to meet business Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) and Must-Win Battles (MWB’s)
  • Collect and analyze data to understand operational losses and define opportunities for improvement
  • Work cross-functionally and collaboratively to execute site improvement plan to achieve budgeted performance metrics and cost reductions

WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS?

What do you bring?

The successful candidate will ideally have a BS degree in Engineering (Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical), or related discipline, and have at least 1 year of experience:

  • Applying World Class Manufacturing and other Continuous Improvement tools/methods in a manufacturing environment (Green or Yellow Belt certification desirable)
  • Working with the site management team to develop strategic/tactical plans to achieve improvements and facilitate change
  • Working independently, as well as collaboratively, to identify the root cause of process issues and implement solutions to provide sustained improvements
  • Analyzing technical data and preparing technical reports (MS Office literacy required)
  • Communicating (written/oral) and interacting with all levels of an organization
  • Training plant personnel in the use of WCM and other CI tools/methods

The standard work time for this position is days, Monday through Friday. However, specific improvement projects or initiatives may require occasional support during non-standard work time.

Certain states require pay information be provided in job postings. The national pay range for this position is $79,500 to $123,400 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.

In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount is 10% of base salary based on company and individual performance measures. The total target cash range (base pay and annual bonus) for this position, is $87,400 to $135,700.

What will you do?

  • Develop and implement territory strategy consistent with the overall business direction to grow sales with year over year growth in multiple product categories within the Interior Products Group (IPG)
  • Identify customer solutions that span across multiple product categories and cross-functional stakeholders, and collaborate effectively with our customers to help them grow their business
  • Establish and effectively manage a high sales call cycle for a diverse customer base such as contractors, builders and create “pull-through” demand, subsequently working with distribution customers to close related sales

About you:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or similar discipline, or five (5) years of equivalent training and related experience in the building, construction industry.
  • Five to ten (5-10) years of applied professional selling experience which includes managing customer relationships, sales presentations and closings of sales.

Accounting & Reporting Business Partner

This role will serve as the primary business contact or Business Partner for several business units who are internal customers of the Shared Service Center (SSC).

WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS?

  1. Business and SSC Liaison – The Business Partner acts as a vital link between Shared Service Center (SSC) capabilities and its business objectives. Advisor leverages their business, financial, and technical knowledge to peer lead cross-functional teams in the delivery of improved business outcomes.
  2. Customer Service – As liaisons between the business community, Service Provider and SSC solution groups, the Business Partner ensures that business challenges are properly articulated before a financial solution is designed and implemented. The Business Partner leverages their business and financial skills, participating in and leading peer groups to create solutions meeting complex product and process challenges. Engages with the Financial Directors (FD) of the Business Unit’s (Internal Customers) to ensure quality of service by establishing and complying with MSA and SOW; measure service performance with KPI’s; and communicate by chairing monthly customer meetings. Proactively seek opportunities to improve service delivery to their customers.
  3. Support month-end close – Support an accurate and timely monthly close is completed for several Internal Customers in accordance with a closing schedule and Saint-Gobain reporting deadlines. Responsible to maintain closing schedules and keep current. Review and approve journal entries emphasizing accuracy and control; manage complex intercompany relationships; and review multiple tax provisions for various general ledgers.
  4. Financial reporting - Support the preparation of a complex set of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for several Internal customers, delivering accurate and timely results to the FD’s. Provide control lists of management reports and analyses to Service Provider.
  5. Account analysis and reconciliation – Review / approve balance sheet accounts reconciled by Service Provider ensuring balance sheet accounts are properly justified.; monitor and analyse general ledger activity for several Internal Customers.
  6. Business compliance internal controls – Within the Internal Controls Reference Framework (ICRF), review internal controls, assess compliance, and remediate compliance gaps working with Service Provider and SSC where necessary; improve accounting processes and internal controls with a focus on continuous improvement initiatives within the general accounting area and across the SSC as a whole. Collaborate with Service Provider to implement solutions

IS THIS JOB FOR YOU?

  • BS Business Administration/Accounting, Advanced Degree preferred.
  • Professional certification (CPA, CMA) a plus.
  • 10-12 years General Ledger experience required, familiarity with a complex international business preferred.

As a Senior Electrical Application Engineer II, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of sustainable energy. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing electrical engineering projects focused on renewable energy BIPV systems. Your expertise will be instrumental in delivering high-quality, efficient, and reliable solutions for commercial, residential, as well as new applications that are not existing.

Functions

  • Lead design, manufacturing prototypes, test plan, validating of new electrical components at various structural levels; (from component to sub assembly, between parts and within the solar system).
    • Design low-voltage to high-voltage electrical systems, including power distribution networks, control circuits, and protection devices.
    • Design and specify the balance of system components, including:
      • Cabling with appropriate conductor size and insulation for DC and AC currents.
      • Conduits sized for cable routing and protection.
      • Combiner boxes for safe and efficient DC power collection from multiple strings.
      • Recommend and size appropriate safety disconnects (AC and DC) to meet code requirements and ensure system protection.
    • Monitor system performance and provide technical support.
    • Responsible for system and equipment test plans for validation or trouble shooting. Analyze results for product selection. Recommend 3rd party electronic equipment for installation (batteries, RSD devices, optimizers, etc.)
    • Select and size power conditioning equipment like inverters and transformers, considering system voltage, power output, efficiency, and compatibility with the chosen PV modules.
  • Lead discussions between CT and vendors in troubleshooting field issues and resolve in timely manner. Ensure compliance with all applicable electrical codes, safety regulations, and industry standards, such as the National Electrical Code (NEC)
  • Create detailed electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, layout plans for system installations, and comprehensive technical documentation.
  • Conduct electrical feasibility studies and site assessments to ensure accurate and efficient implementation.
  • Supervise and provide objectives, follow ups and coach to junior electrical engineer.

WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS?

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 12 years of experience; master’s degree with 7 years of experience or PhD with 3 years of experience in Electrical Engineering (preferably in the renewable energy or power generation industries)
  • Proven record of developing products as an electrical engineer.
  • Extensive experience managing intercompany relationship with excellent communication skills.
  • Proven experience designing and implementing electrical power systems, such as sizing of components, and electrical circuit diagram design.
  • Demonstrated understanding of electrical characteristics at cell level, PV module level, string level and system level. Be the internal expert on how a system should be wired.  Perform calculations to understand system design potential and operational limits.

Job Summary

This position is responsible for developing and optimizing continuous production and manufacturing processes to achieve the output, quality, and cost goals of the organization.     • Assists in training supervisors, leads, operators and maintenance staff in the safe and proper usage of equipment and tooling.
    • Coordinate and train operators to improve OEE, and 5S.

  • Develops the injection molding process for new tooling. This includes:
    • Develop and assist in the process and product monitoring, including the creation of a validation protocol (IQ, OQ, PQ).
    • All molding machine parameters, peripheral equipment such as thermolators, chillers and dryers
    • Preparing and maintain molding process workbooks.
  • Troubleshoots and prevents safety and quality issues, improve efficiency, including reviewing new & existing tools, equipment, and production methods with tooling technicians.
    • Interact with production supervisor(s) for scheduling and troubleshooting requirements.
    • Provides process direction & training to operators.
    • Lead cross functional team activities to identify top issues, plan and implement appropriate corrective actions, and track and validate effectiveness.
  • Explore, investigate, and implement the processes, production methods and equipment of the future with a strong inclination to Industry 4.0. This includes:
    • Exhibit an entrepreneurial spirit, daring to take our processes beyond what we currently know.
    • Create and be able to pitch business cases for CAPEX requests.
    • Implement new processes and equipment from A to Z, including documentation of machine parameters and operator work instructions, and purchasing peripheral equipment.
    • Develop and assist in the process and product monitoring, including validation with internal and external customers.

The Senior Project Engineer will be accountable for the execution of improvement-focused projects, and training of staff for multiple shifts. WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS?

What do you bring?

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical/Industrial/Electrical)
  • 10 – 15 years of experience Working in an Engineering role in continuous process manufacturing plants, or similar
  • 5 to 10 years of experience working in leading capital and non-capital improvement projects with budgeted guidelines
  • Experience PM technologies (vibration analysis, infrared thermography, oil analysis, ultrasonic), the sciences of heat transfer and flow of solids, liquids and powder.
  • Experience with P&I, Equipment Layout Drawings, grinding, conveying, mixing, forming, design optimization & troubleshooting.
  • Experience with project cost estimating, competitive bidding, critical path scheduling, resource funding, and capital funding.
  • Knowledge of or experience utilizing WCM, EEM, Kaizens, Lean, TPM, Root Cause, PFMEA & DFMEA toolsets.
  • Very good knowledge of EH&S standards
