We are looking for a Sales Support and Commercial Compliance Coordinator. This position is hourly and is onsite Monday-Friday, 8am-5p

 

Scope:     Supporting sales and Customer Service.  Formalize practices, capitalize on the know-how, and continuously improve processes.   

 

Responsibilities:

  • Study, align and merge Customer Services practices toward a standardized and efficient way of working, including integrating tools such as SalesForce into workflows.
  • Document and formalize procedures, workflows and work instructions for customer service and product coordination.
  • Assist customer service team with credit issue resolution.
  • Handle and arrange shipping for sample Sales orders per customer specific requirements.
  • Provide backup support to the customer service team during staff shortages.
  • Review and process Tax certificates, ensuring timely follow-up for missing or expired certifications.
  • Administration of customer portals to maintain up-to-date information and accessibility.
  • Analyze customer score cards and initiate corrective actions when necessary.
  • Monitor and evaluate retroactive impacts of price changes and prepare change letters for customers.
  • Build tools/files to support Quotation process. Update quotes/ perform quotes on standard product range.
  • Create and Document procedures for handling PPAP/FAI (First Article Inspection) demands (i.e.: Sales Order creation, work order conditions, machine transfers)
  • Coordinate extraordinary transactions (i.e. equipment or materials sales/transfers) /and create procedures for streamlined future occurrences.
  • Assist Application Engineering department with part number creations on new materials.
  • Collaborate on and coordinate cross-functional initiatives to improve customer service and business processes.
  • Review and interpret customer terms and conditions to ensure alignment with company policies.
  • Screen customer supplier manuals for business liability considerations, documenting exceptions as necessary.
  • Monitor and mitigate business exposure related to sales agreements and practices.

WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS?

Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, supply chain or legal studies required
  • Paralegal related experience or education is a strong preference.
  • Strong interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills.
  • Detailed oriented and able to read and interpret commercial terms and conditions.
  • Strong computer skills (i.e. Microsoft Word, Excel, QAD).
  • Ability to make quick decisions, while dealing with multiple personalities.
  • Ability to work in fast paced customer/site environment.
  • Analytical skills to review data
  • Positive attitude / high energy

This position is responsible to set up and run department equipment to form finished bearings and bushings.

  • Operates up to 3 machines simultaneously according to standard operating procedures, or special instruction from supervisor.
  • Clears machine jams, makes adjustments as needed.
  • Performs SPC checks and procedures.
  • Monitors and updates status of work orders.
  • Communicate and cooperate with fellow employees to maintain quality, operational efficiency and safety.
  • Clean and maintain machinery, tools, and work area as scheduled or as needed.
  • Maintain necessary records as required by SOPs and work instructions.
  • Visually observe, troubleshoot, and report non-conformance condition (either product or process) to supervisor, or manager as required.
  • Disassemble and reassemble machines and replace parts as required.
  • Monitor quality of product through 1st piece and final inspection as required.
  • Perform other related duties as required or as directed by supervisor.
  • Exhibits safety awareness and safe work practices.
  • Understand all environmental policies and significant environmental impact of job activities in accordance with the ISO 14001 standard.

WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS?

  • High school diploma or equivalent, REQUIRED
  • Able to operate independently and as part of a team

Quality Assurance Manager
Position Description
Job Summary

This position is a synergistic balance of total quality leadership, quality assurance systems, and customer advocate responsibilities which require broad functionality and agility. This person will have a direct reporting line to the Plant Manager. This position will need to work closely with Plant teams to drive a quality culture into the plants, ensuring VOC is incorporated into manufacturing, while at the same time, meeting all ASTM and industry requirements.

Main duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Direct Supervision of Plant Lab Technician and Quality Engineer
  • Product Specifications and Standards - Including new product development
  • Defining and applying basic sampling techniques (e.g., random, stratified, etc.) and when sampling is appropriate
  • Own, train, and monitor the control and reaction plans.
  • Selecting and applying advanced statistical methods and quality tools (e.g., hypothesis testing, Analysis of Variance, SIPOC, and Design of Experiments) in conjunction with the QPC Pillar, Technical Services, and Central Engineering.
  • Support plant in the management of product master formulations, product, and raw material specifications through the use of corporate and internal change management systems
  • Provide production supervisors and operators with information and training to help them perform their jobs and make correct quality-related decisions. Leading and providing expertise in the completion of needs assessments, competency-based training and follow-up for all facility personnel and appropriate Quality and inspection methodologies in support of people development

WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS?

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, Mathematics, or Statistics, required
  • Previous experience in gypsum, paper, or continuous manufacturing, required
  • 5-10 Years’ progressive experience in quality engineering, production operations, or engineering
  • ASQ-CQE certification or equivalent work experience, preferred
  • ISO 9001 certification / training, preferred

In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount is 13% of base salary based on company and individual performance measures.

The Total Target Cash range (base pay and annual bonus) for this position, is $112,887.00 to $174,924.00. Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and by nature can vary based on company and individual performance and is not a guarantee.

EHS Manager

Job Summary

The EHS Manager will provide leadership to the Environmental, Health, & Safety programs at the plant, within the defined World Class Manufacturing framework, in a manner consistent to the Values and Attitudes of the CertainTeed Gypsum and Saint Gobain culture. 

  • Provide hand-on leadership, coaching, and mentoring to the local site personnel consisting of hourly and salaried employees.
  • Identify and correct potential hazards by inspecting facilities, machinery, and safety equipment, in addition perform data entry into corporate EH&S databases (GAIA, monthly reports) and analyze data
  • Investigate industrial accidents, injuries, or occupational diseases to determine their causes and to determine whether the incidents could have been or can be prevented (RCA).
  • Interview employees to learn about work environments and incidents that lead to accidents or injuries and evaluate the corrections that were made to remedy violations found during health inspections.
  • Promote, develop and train behavioral EH&S initiatives to drive to an autonomous EH&S culture by identifying safety opportunities and developing solutions of corrective actions (assists in training hourly/salaried employees). In addition, train contractors on site safety policies.
  • In conjunction with Area EH & S Manager – IPG Gypsum West -Mining and Panels, and Local HR, provides direction and support on Workers' Compensation Benefit (WCB) claims and return to work programs
  • Maintain Industrial Hygiene standards according with company and legal regulations
  • Organize safety functions and campaigns (EH&S DAY etc.), in addition, may assist engineering capital projects, process implementation and commissioning, and regulatory affairs by providing adequate risk assessment specific for each project · Manage Loss Prevention Program for the facility
  • Ensure compliance with air quality management systems, stormwater management for industrial & construction stormwater programs, hazardous waste requirements – for all federal, state, and county permits and regulations such as air, water, waste management or as required on our compliance calendar, and record keeping.
  • Ensure compliance with the water rights and regulations of local water district for the water wells owned by CertainTeed locally

WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS?

This position is a strong business partner and a financial leader at the Moundsville Board Plant. You will be expected to provide effective and relevant financial analysis to support management and help business leaders make effective decisions and identify opportunities to reduce operating costs and increase efficiencies at the plant. In this position, you will oversee budgeting, forecasting, month end processes, ensure accuracy of financials, coordinate with all of the relevant parties to ensure smooth efficient processes, as well as ensure compliance with internal controls.

This will be a hybrid position with expectations of being in office 2-3 times a month based on proximity to the office. 10% of travel may be required to attend conferences, visit plant locations, support, and attend various meetings.

Plant Controlling Responsibilities:

  • Manage month-end financial close

  • Challenge departments in a constructive manner to drive improvement in the plant
  • Develop mid-month forecasts and propose action plans to take corrective actions before month end.
  • Prepare the deliverables and discuss financial figures during the monthly Ops-Finance reviews

WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS?

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Economics, Engineering or related field with an emphasis on finance, or relevant experience
  • Master’s Degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting, a plus.
  • 3-5+ years of progressive experience in finance related field, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Must have strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Superior data management and modeling skills required. Experienced user of Microsoft Windows software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). SAP and G/L Wands, QlikView and other BI Tools, and financial consolidation systems experience preferred
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment, demonstrating a mature and organized approach to work load
  • Prior direct or indirect management experience, required
  • Must have the ability to quickly and accurately assess a business situation, arrive at decisions in a timely manner and understand the ramifications of decisions is critical to this job.

Job Summary

As a Process Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in driving process development, efficiency, and improvement initiatives. You will collaborate with both internal and external customers on cost-saving projects, capital expenditures, and troubleshooting. Qualifications:

Education:

Work Experience:

  • Required: Minimum of 3 years in coated film production.

Practical/Technical Knowledge:

Required:

  •  Experience in composite or plastic film coating, laminating, converting, and processing.
  • Knowledge and experience with Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, or World Class Manufacturing.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, MS Access, and Outlook.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think quickly and creatively in unforeseen circumstances.

  • Enter orders for other branches in accordance with procedures for special materials and interbranch shipping
  • Updating and referencing the company’s CRM system (Oracle)
  • Supply and inform clients of pricing, credit terms as well as entering orders in system
  • Investigate and troubleshoot customer service issues and offer solutions to our customers achieve their goals
  • Other duties as required.
