We seek a dynamic and innovative Supply Chain Digital Strategy Manager to spearhead our supply chain strategy, implementation, and technology initiatives. This role is pivotal in driving transformation and leveraging cutting-edge technologies to optimize our supply chain processes. The successful candidate will lead the development of forward-thinking strategies that align with our business objectives, ensuring we stay ahead in a competitive market. Will play a leading role in the process of developing the supply chain goals and objectives that align with the overall Roofing Group. This role will supervise key supply chain employees directly and indirectly. Strategic Planning: Develop and implement supply chain strategies that align with the company's overall business objectives

Technology Integration: Lead the evaluation, selection, and implementation of supply chain technologies, including AI and SAP, to enhance efficiency and effectiveness

M&A: Develop plans to integrate the supply chain systems and technologies during mergers and acquisitions

Process Optimization: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to streamline supply chain operations

Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including procurement, logistics, and IT, to ensure cohesive and efficient supply chain operations

Data Analysis: Utilize data analytics and AI to monitor supply chain performance and make data-driven decisions for continuous improvement

Data Analytics and Reporting: Lead the development and implementation of data analytics tools and reporting systems to provide actionable insights for supply chain strategy and operations. Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of data and reports to support informed decision-making

Digital Transformation: Drive digital transformation initiatives within the supply chain function to enhance efficiency, transparency, and cost-effectiveness. Identify and implement innovative technology solutions, such as AI, machine learning, and automation, to streamline procurement processes

Vendor Management: Manage relationships with technology vendors and service providers to ensure optimal performance and cost-effectiveness

Compliance: Ensure all supply chain activities comply with relevant regulations and standards

Project Management: Lead the overall execution of supply chain projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with strategic goals

Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align supply chain strategies with business goals. Provide training and support to supply chain team members on data analytics tools, technology platforms, and digital processes

IS THIS JOB FOR YOU?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
  • Requires at least 8 to 10 years of supply chain, information technology, or engineering experience.

What’s the job?

The Environmental Sustainability Engineer acts as a resource within the facility to other departments regarding employee safety, ensures environmental compliance, identifies and completes sustainability projects, and leads the plant environmental improvement efforts.

Essential Job Duties:

  • Oversight of all sustainability activities of the plant to achieve the sustainability goals of energy/CO2, water, and waste reduction.
  • Coordinate and oversee environmental operations to ensure regulatory compliance and permit renewals including but not limited to: Title V Air permit, Industrial Storm Water Permit, Above Ground Storage Tank permit, Scott County Haz Waste License, EPA SPCC Plan and Facility Response Plans.
  • Provide key leadership to the plant recycling efforts & waste disposal/treatment programs.
  • Lead the site team in the identification and implementation of sustainability projects through conducting site assessments, participating in Green Team activities, and sharing/learning best practices that Support the company’s short term and long- term emissions goals to reduce the environmental impact of the plant’s activities.
  • Conduct regular site inspections for environmental compliance.
  • Assess potential environmental risks and develop mitigation plans.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to continually improve the facilities environmental program.
  • Identify root causes of environmental problems and propose appropriate actions plans.
  • Coordinate with management to schedule periodic maintenance and upgrade activities to environmental control equipment.
  • Maintain complete, clear and accurate documentations/reports for environmental activities at the facility. (SARA Title 111 Section 312/313)
  • Manage asbestos abatement plan and procedure.
  • Participate in WCM (World Class Manufacturing) activities such as 5s, SMAT, TPM and other Kaizen events
  • May be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.

The Total Target Cash range (base pay and annual bonus) for this position, is $125,300 - $193,900. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the Maintenance Millwright is responsible for completing mechanical maintenance work as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor, and other plant personnel, to ensure suitable availability and reliability of plant equipment and machinery associated with the manufacture of wallboard.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Performs repairs to machinery and plant support systems with regards to mechanical, hydraulics, pneumatics, etc.
  • Maintains correct safety standards at all times
  • Work with preventative maintenance programs and keep proper maintenance records.
  • Operate machine tools such as lathes and grinders to fabricate the parts required during overhauls, maintenance or set-up of machinery
  • Works with a wide array of precision tools, such as Vernier calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, gauge blocks and levels
  • Fabricates custom parts, fixtures and guarding by means of arc welding, grinding, oxyacetylene cutting
  • Assembles and installs machinery and equipment such as mixers, saws, pullers, precision bearings, gear-boxes, clutches, motors, shafts, sprockets, chains, conveyors etc.
  • Alignment skills, couplings on pumps and various Falk Couplings
  • Works at heights and confined spaces without fear
  • Occasionally performs work in other trades, welding and other work
  • Participates and supports World Class Manufacturing and lean manufacturing initiatives
  • Troubleshoots and repairs machinery and equipment in breakdown situations to ensure production requirements are met.

  • Mechanical tradesperson holding a BC Certificate of Qualification.

Sr. Analyst, Accounting & Reporting

  • Serving as an experienced senior lead supporting Shared Services Center (“SSC”) accounting team, Business Unit (“BU”) and Service Provider team members, facilitating day-to-day accounting operations while improving the SSC accounting procedures and internal controls. Provide training and guidance to the SSC and Service Provider accounting team members.
  • Serving as a key Accounting and Reporting point of contact with the customer’s management and staff, delivering high levels of customer service, providing helpful, friendly and informative communications, being proactive in meeting customer needs and requirements, and continuously seeking opportunities to improve service delivery.
  • Driving monthly close by approving journal entries, reconciliations, reports, intercompany invoices and balances, and reviewing income tax provisions. Ensuring Service Provider has all required inputs necessary to complete their closing duties. Responsible for the on-time delivery of closing results to customers’ management. Monitoring and analyzing applicable general ledger activity, ensuring account reconciliations are performed and reconciling items are accounted for on timely basis.
  • Responsible for customer financial reporting, ensuring compilation of Magnitude packages by the Service Provider, BU and SSC are completed on time, accurate and compliant with all controls. Ensuring tax, treasury, and government reports are completed accurately and on time by providing support to Service Provider as needed, quality review and monitoring
  • Ensuring compliance by Service Provider, SSC and BU with Saint-Gobain’s Internal Control Reference Framework (“ICRF”) and accounting guidelines established by GAAP and IFRS.
  • Working closely within the SSC and with the customer by leading or participating on initiatives to meet SSC and BU goals and on customer-sponsored special projects.
  • Responding to financial and tax audit requests for information and insight with support of Service Provider.
  • Applying technical know-how to research/resolve accounting and accounting systems issues for BU while lending direction to Service Provider. Support Service Provider with proper inputs or approvals for exceptions to accounting or process rules.

  • BS Business Administration/Accounting.  Advanced degree is a plus.
  • Professional Certification (CPA, CMA) is a plus.
  • 5-10 years of general accounting experience in a large, complex international business is preferred.  Prior experience servicing internal customers in a shared service utilizing outsourced service provider organization is a plus.
  • Ability to operate within established accounting and reporting guidelines.  Solid grasp of technical accounting and reporting principles with experience working with GAAP and IFRS.  Strong knowledge of and practical experience with internal controls.  Strong problem-solving and project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.  Experience with integrated ERP and financial reporting systems.

EHS Internship - Manufacturing

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Provide support to EHS Specialist with the various projects; including updating of existing policies and procedures • Assist in the development and review of environmental and safety training and policy documents • Update the Safety Data Sheet (SDS) Database • Updating EHS Portal documentation on SharePoint. • Assisting with IH sampling/monitoring/compliance for the site. • Conduct New Hire Safety Orientations • Conduct site safety and environmental inspections. • Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications/Skills: • Enrolled in a bachelor's degree in occupational safety, safety engineering, environmental engineering, or similar field. • Industrial Hygiene background. • Familiarity with OSHA, EPA, DOT, RCRA and others. • Ability to work up to 40 hours a week during summer months • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. • Ability to speak effectively before groups of employees.

Operations Manager

What’s the job?

The Operations Manager oversees both the production and maintenance functions to ensure safe, efficient, and profitable manufacturing operations. You will develop and implement operational plans, manage resources, personnel, equipment, and materials to ensure the plant runs efficiently. Work with local and corporate engineering to prioritize and implement site capital requirements. Partner with HR to develop your managers and front-line supervision, promoting positive labor relations. Provide communication and feedback to all levels of the organization. The Operations Manager is a member of the Plant Steering Committee reporting directly to the Plant Manager.

  • Model safe behaviors and lead safety initiatives.
  • Play an active role as a member of the Plant Steering Committee.
  • Lead the WCM Industrial Efficiency Pillar.
  • Manage production and maintenance functional groups, driving systems thinking.
  • Monitor and analyze trends in KPIs, prepare reports and drive improvement plans.
  • Ensure adherence to existing processes and identify opportunities.
  • Develop and implement operational plans.
  • Execute actions to adjust capacities to meet requirements as needed.
  • Manage and report on budgets and forecasts to optimize profitability.
  • Coach and mentor managers and supervisors.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Bachelor’s degree in chemical or mechanical engineering or other technical discipline.
  • 6+ years in operations management in industrial manufacturing.
  • Multitasking skills to handle complex processes.
  • Track record of success in an organized labor facility.
  • Experience managing budgets, KPIs and performance improvement initiatives.
  • Project management skills and ability to drive accountability.
  • Excellent organization and data analysis skills.
  • Demonstrated implementation of Lean methodologies.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
