What’s the job?

The Millwright will have the responsibility of facility maintenance, which includes, but are not limited to the following

  • Perform PM’s and input work requests using the current computerized maintenance systems that are associated with the general plant and production lines. 
  • Repair and fabricate the necessary equipment to achieve a high level of up time of the manufacturing facility.
  • Perform down day maintenance as required, and other duties as assigned.   
  • Must be capable of acting independently and without immediate supervision in accomplishing repairs normally associated with industrial maintenance.
  • Communicate with supervisors when any safety, quality or productivity issues occur.

 

 

WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS?

What do you bring?

  • A high school Diploma or GED is required?
  • Journeyman status, welding/fabrication certification(s) are a plus
  • At least 4 years in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Proficiency in blueprint reading, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems and power transmission equipment
  • Must be computer proficient, experience with SAP as well as popular PM software would be a plus
  • No travel requirements

The Senior Research Engineer I is expected to be a technical expert in applied fluid mechanics. The individual in this role will use scientific knowledge and methods to lead and execute projects to improve glass fibers insulation process and products. Particularly, this individual will apply fluid dynamics tools and methods to characterize and improve additive spraying or curing and fiberizing or blowing processes. The person in this role will oversee internal competencies and lab testing methods development. This individual will collaborate with all other functions including purchasing, operations and product development team.

Responsibilities:

  • Modeling and understanding our current fiberizing and binder spraying, curing process
  • Process optimization for product performance optimization
  • Plant and manufacturing support
  • Internal competencies development, including small scale fire testing for insulation products

WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS?

 

  • BS Degree + 7yrs of experience or Master’s Degree + 3yrs of experience or Entry level PhD in R&D and/or manufacturing

Certain states require pay information be provided in job postings. The national pay range for this position is $19.58- $24.58 per hour. However, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.

In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount is up to 9% of base salary based on company and individual performance measures.

  • Work on project-assigned basis, design new and modify existing equipment in order to improve process safety, product quality, reduce costs, and increase efficiencies
  • Communicate and cooperate with fellow employees to maintain quality, operation efficiency, and safety
  • Visually observe, troubleshoot and report non-conformance condition (either product or process) to supervisor or manager as required.
  • Understand all environmental policies and significant environmental impact of job activities in accordance with the ISO 14001 standard.

WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS?

  • Partner with plant management to increase plant efficiency and profitability - identify issues and proactively initiate analyses / solutions quickly and accurately, keeping in mind the requirements from GAAP. Meet the needs of a complex, diverse, dynamic and fast paced organization that will pose a wide variety of challenges from a manufacturing level.
  • Manage the timely completion of the month-end financial close for the roofing and granule plant, demonstrating awareness of all elements of a plant’s financial statements.
  • Support and manage the Plant Cost Analyst - working together to better improve processes, undertaking accounting activities, as well as business partnering with the whole Plant team to provide timely and accurate data to support business decisions
  • Prepare analysis to understand the financial ramifications of current and proposed business actions
  • Ensure compliance with SGC and EPG policies and procedures
  • Prepare and coordinate the annual budget at the plant level, oversee and reconcile inventory cycle counts and annual physical inventory and assist in preparation of capital appropriations requests
  • Project work based on company objectives & supporting / challenging Six Sigma activities with special focus on the financial analysis, and cost reduction projects
  • Financial training for non-financial stakeholders - ability to effectively develop people and transfer knowledge down into, and across, the financial and manufacturing organizations

Promote a safe working environment that complies with proper use of PPE, proper disposal of waste solutions, report incidents and participate in functional department safety meetings. Exhibits good environmental practices and procedures consistent with job(s) performed and EMS (Environmental Management System) requirements.

WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS?

  • Minimum High School Diploma or GED; required.
  • At least one year of custodial, janitorial, or cleanings service experience; preferred.

As a CNC Machinist II (Set-Up) you’ll play a crucial role in our mission by operating and troubleshooting advanced CNC machines to craft high-quality parts for the Aerospace and Automotive industries. What We’re Looking For: • Expertise in independently setting up complex, advanced, and non-routine jobs 3 and 5 axis mills and lathes

• Proficiency in using measuring equipment like micrometers and calipers.

• Ability to follow written procedures and work routers accurately.

• Experience in dismantling jigs, tools, and special fixtures.

• Skills in making and modifying tooling as necessary.

• Willingness to train and mentor co-workers on CNC machine operations and inspection techniques.

• A keen eye for maintaining drawing specifications by monitoring for dimensional and visual accuracy.

Job Summary

The Particle Process Operator (Days) will safely operate a variety of processing equipment in preparing liquid or solid chemicals. The number one priority of the PPO is to create and continuously monitor a safe work environment for themselves and everyone. Operators prepare, monitor, and clean equipment used to mill, grade, mix, filter, and process chemicals. They utilize analytical instrumentation to measure product quality throughout the manufacturing process and use their in-depth knowledge to follow a detailed process control plan to safely produce quality products that meet specifications. The PPO sets up and conducts tests and analysis to gather data and meet product specifications. The PPO will be responsible for keeping record of products and materials shipped and received within the company, and ensure orders are filled correctly. Responsibilities include milling, grading, mixing and safely handling chemicals, recording information and observations, as well as troubleshooting issues with equipment. The PPO problem-solves collaboratively with peers and makes decisions utilizing their specialized knowledge. The PPO demonstrates teamwork, follow instructions and production schedules, and act quickly when a problem arises. The PPO will have a thorough understanding of policies, procedures, quality standards, good manufacturing practices and safety environment regulations. Day shift is Monday through Thursday from 6am to 6:30pm.

The incumbent will be responsible for the management of the Certainteed Roofing Project Management Office (PMO). This new department will promote and enforce the use of the Saint Gobain Project Execution Manual (PEM) and its tools, standardizing project management techniques, implementing governance and performance management systems. The PMO improves project work by collaboration, reporting and communications, providing support to the Project Managers team and gathering best practices and documents maintained in the PMO repository.

The PMO Manager provides strategic planning, leadership, and oversight of multiple and or large scale-projects. 

  • Manage, mentor, lead and develop the project managers team.
  • Lead the team by example, delegating work according to expertise, project priorities, technical challenges, and development plans.
  • Maintain fluid communication and collaboration with other members of Roofing TIP: Project Management Office PMO, OPEX team, Loss Prevention Team, and other corporate teams such as Operations, R&D or Safety during project’s life cycle.
  • As part of the Roofing TIP management team, the incumbent holds the responsibility to collaborate and coordinate with the Director of Roofing TIP and the rest of the management team / peers with all matter related to the improvement of the Industrial Performance of the Roofing group.
  • Oversee multiple projects: Maintaining holistic view of ongoing projects, ensuring that each one meets its objectives, adheres to schedule and budget. Focus on the macro level progress of each project, identifying bottlenecks and risk.
  • Ensures all projects meet the Saint Gobain and Roofing Standards in terms of Environmental, Health and Safety, Technical Roofing Standards and PEM
  • In close collaboration with the financial department, manages the overall project budget, ensuring overruns are minimized.
  • Risk Management and Problem-Solving: Skilled in identifying potential risks early on and developing mitigation strategies.
  • Change Management: Manages change effectively across projects, ensuring that any adjustment to scope, schedule, budget or resources are handled with minimal disruption.
  • Evaluate and select a Project Management software that fulfills most of the needs of the PMO.
